Indian Foreign Secretary Misri Hands Over Military Equipment to Nepali Army

Kathmandu: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who is on a two-day visit to Nepal, handed over military equipment and supplies to the Nepali Army.

At the Army Headquarters, Misri formally handed over six Light Strike Vehicles to the Nepali Army. According to senior military officials, the preparation for the handover had been underway for some time.

On the same occasion, he also provided two military dogs for breeding purposes, six military horses, and a set of health supplies. Prior to the handover, Misri held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel at Army Headquarter.

Foreign Secretary Misri is scheduled to return to India at today.
