Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the State of Israel to Nepal, Smulick Arie Bass, held a meeting with Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 13.
During the meeting, Ambassador Bass congratulated Foreign Minister Sharma on his appointment and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure.
Foreign Minister Sharma welcomed the Ambassador and expressed satisfaction over the steadily growing bilateral relations between Nepal and Israel. He highlighted plans to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year with enthusiasm.
The Foreign Minister also assured the Ambassador of full support from the Ministry and relevant agencies in carrying out his duties in Nepal.
