Kathmandu: The Embassy of Japan in Nepal has extended warm congratulations to Balananda Sharma on his appointment as Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs.
In a message, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru said Japan looks forward to working closely with the new foreign minister to further strengthen Nepal–Japan relations as the two countries prepare to mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties next year.
