Kathmandu: The Embassy of Japan in Nepal hosted Japanese University Alumni Association Nepal (JUAAN) 53rd Annual Program held in Lalitpur on March 27. About 60 JUAAN members enjoyed an annual reunion to reflect on the past year and discussed future activities.
The Chief Guest, DCM Shinto, stated that economic development is a key factor to stabilize the country. He emphasized that the Government of Japan would like to collaborate with JUAAN in every field, as the JUAAN members played an active role in contributing to the important sectors in Nepal.
This year marks the 70th Anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Japan and Nepal, and organizations like JUAAN can play a vital role to further strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries. We are also pleased to welcome the new members who have taken this opportunity to join JUAAN.
