Kathmandu: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Maeda Toru, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki at her office on December 5.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of Nepal–Japan relations, including ongoing cooperation and future opportunities to strengthen bilateral ties. They also exchanged views on preparations for celebrating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan in 2026.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides expressed commitment to further deepening partnership in the years ahead.
