Japanese Embassy Hosts Student Exchange Reception in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The Embassy of Japan to Nepal hosted a reception for 24 high school students from Japan on November 3.

During the event, the Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, Maeda Toru, delivered welcome remarks and words of encouragement, emphasizing the significance of study visits in fostering deeper mutual understanding between Japan and Nepal.

The visiting students also took part in a panel discussion on Japan-Nepal relations and cooperation, which featured insightful contributions from Ram Chandra Bhusal, President of JAAN; Amira Dali, President of Love Green Nepal; and Arjun Adhikari, Chairman of the Hokkaido Nepal Business Group.

Such exchanges, the Embassy noted, play an important role in further strengthening the longstanding friendship and partnership between the two nations.
