Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Tae-Young Park, met with Jaco du Toit, UNESCO Representative to Nepal, on July 22, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation on UNESCO’s work in the country.
During the meeting, they explored areas of collaboration such as Greening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), improving heritage management, enhancing water management systems, and developing response measures for climate-related disasters, including glacial lake outburst floods.
The meeting aimed to build stronger ties and advance sustainable development efforts in Nepal through shared initiatives.
