Korean Ambassador Delivers Special Lecture at Pokhara University, Discusses Nepal–Korea Relations

Kathmandu: Ambassador of Korea to Nepal, Park Tae-young, visited Pokhara University, the second-largest comprehensive university in Nepal, on December 24.

During the visit, Ambassador Park delivered a special lecture to around 50 students, sharing insights into Korea’s history, economy, culture, and the growing Nepal–Korea relationship.

In addition to the lecture, Ambassador Park held a meeting with Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University, Dr. Bed Raj KC. During the meeting, both sides expressed optimism about further expanding academic and institutional cooperation between Nepal and South Korea.

The discussion also highlighted the ongoing International Cooperative Leading University Project, particularly the “Strengthening Nursing Faculty Competencies” initiative being implemented at Pokhara University in collaboration with Inha University of Korea, aimed at enhancing nursing education and capacity building.
