Korean Ambassador, KOICA Meet ANKUR to Support Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers

Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Park Tae-young, along with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), held a meeting with the Association of Korean Returnees (ANKUR) on January 19.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on ANKUR’s ongoing activities and the “K-HaMi Project,” which aims to strengthen assistance systems for the stable reintegration of returning migrant workers in Nepal.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Park expressed hope that ANKUR would further enhance its organizational capacity to support the settlement and entrepreneurship of its new members. He also emphasized the association’s continued role in contributing to Nepal–Korea economic cooperation and Nepal’s overall development.
