Kathmandu: Emeritus Professor Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab Hamid, Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia, accompanied by the Head of Chancery of the Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu, met with representatives of Islami Sangh Nepal at the Islamic Cultural Center in Balku, Kathmandu.
During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in higher education. Malaysia, known for its globally recognized universities and hosting several institutions ranked among the top 60 worldwide, offers avenues for academic collaboration.
The session also aimed to further strengthen people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Nepal, promoting mutual understanding and engagement in education and cultural exchanges.
