Kathmandu: Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) conducted a routine capacity-building training on Counter Trafficking in Persons (C-TIP) and Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) on February 16–17 in Nuwakot.
The training was organized for staff of Techno Electric and Engineering Company, the contractor working on the Ratmate Substation project.
The program focused on promoting a safe and respectful working environment for both employees and the surrounding community. Participants were trained on their responsibilities in preventing human trafficking, sexual harassment, and violence against women and children. The session also covered available reporting mechanisms for misconduct and grievances.
A total of 28 participants attended the two-day training.
