Mission “Baikalpik Soch” National Dialogue Held in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The University of Three Generations and the Eagle Think Tank jointly organized a high-level forum titled Mission “Baikalpik Soch” (Alternative Thinking): What is the Way Forward? at Southwestern State College Hall, Basundhara. The event aimed to reflect on Nepal’s pressing challenges and explore practical long-term strategies for the country’s future.

The program began with a tribute to those who lost their lives during the recent Gen Z Movement and greetings for upcoming festivals, symbolizing unity and resilience.

Dr. Rajendra K.C., Chairman of the University of Three Generations, emphasized inter-generational learning and citizen participation in national life. Leaders of the Eagle Think Tank, including former senior military officials, highlighted their focus on security, diplomacy, environment, leadership, and human resource management.

Keynote speakers presented roadmaps on education, constitutional clarity, bureaucracy, leadership, policing, and national security. They underlined the urgency of reform, accountability, and people-centered governance, stressing that “alternative thinking” is essential for Nepal’s stability.

Participants from academia, civil society, media, and the diplomatic community engaged in interactive discussions, calling for neutrality, responsibility, and inclusive dialogue. Security forces were also commended for their professionalism during the Gen Z Movement.

The event concluded with commitments to share the prepared roadmaps with relevant authorities and reaffirmation that Nepal’s future depends on collective dialogue, professional responsibility, and the combined wisdom of all generations.
