Kathmandu: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal organized an interaction program titled ‘Foreign Direct Investment – Policy, Reality, Reports and Way-Forward’ on February 12.
High-level officials and representatives from various ministries, boards, departments, and the private sector participated in the discussion.
The program focused on improving Nepal’s investment climate, reviewing different reports and assessments related to foreign direct investment (FDI), and identifying practical steps to address existing challenges.
Addressing the event, Joint Secretary Krishna Prasad Dhakal emphasized the need for renewed inter-agency coordination to strengthen procedural, legal, and institutional frameworks. He stressed that coordinated efforts are essential to make Nepal a more attractive destination for foreign investors.
