MoFA Nepal Hosts First-Ever Diplomatic Futsal Tournament

Surendra Kumar Yadav, Joint Secretary of Foreign Ministry of Nepal, and a player of MoFA Nepal team, vying the ball aganist Embassy of India in Kathmandu team during the first Diplomatic Futsal Tournament in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Nepal launched its first-ever Diplomatic Futsal Tournament on May 28, 2025, aiming to promote friendship and mutual understanding through sports diplomacy.

A total of 13 teams from various diplomatic missions in Kathmandu, including two from MoFA, are participating in the tournament.

The final match is scheduled to be held on June 1, 2025.
