Nation Should Recognise the Potential of the Youth: Foreign Minister Dr. Rana

Kathmandu: On the occasion of International Youth Day, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba addressed a program organized by the Nepal Youth Foundation (NYF) in Lalitpur.

“The foundation of building a prosperous Nepal is the strength of the youth. Since a large portion of our population consists of young people, they have a significant role in shaping the country’s prosperous future,” said Dr. Rana. “I believe that the nation should recognize and utilize the creativity, energy, and potential of the youth.”

The minister also expressed appreciation to NYF for organizing the event and acknowledged the organization’s longstanding work in providing education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and vocational training to disadvantaged children and youth in Nepal.

Designated by the United Nations, International Youth Day is celebrated as an awareness day that takes place on August 12, serving as a global platform for governments and organisations to raise awareness of youth-related issues
