Kathmandu: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has emphasized the importance of resolving to eliminate all forms of discrimination, hostility, and intolerance, advocating for equal opportunity, social justice, and cultural respect as fundamental principles of our lives.
While extending best wishes message to all Nepalis, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of National Unity Day 2082 BS on January 11, Vice President Yadav remarked that the nation can only progress economically, socially, educationally, and politically by committing to eradicating all forms of discrimination, enmity, and intolerance.
He stated, “I am confident that this day will also aid in resolving any ethnic, class, religious, and regional disputes, fostering brotherhood, harmony, and a sense of belonging. May National Unity Day serve as a foundation for achieving enduring peace, effective governance, development, and prosperity through our federal democratic republican framework while preserving and enhancing our rich cultural heritage.”
Vice President Yadav stressed that National Unity Day should act as a catalyst for promoting social harmony, tolerance, and cohesion by embracing Nepal’s diverse ethnic, linguistic, religious, and cultural identities.
