Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh organized a programme on Nepal–Bangladesh Economic Cooperation in Rajshahi on December 19.
Addressing the programme, Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari highlighted steady progress in bilateral economic cooperation, including recent achievements in power trade, investment and tourism. Emphasizing the role of the business community, he encouraged participants to engage with Nepali counterparts to further strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
First Secretary Yojana Bamjan delivered a presentation outlining key areas of cooperation between the two countries, including trade, investment, connectivity, education and people-to-people contacts. An interactive session followed, during which participants’ queries and concerns were addressed.
The programme also included remarks from representatives of government agencies and business associations in Rajshahi. More than 120 participants, including members of chambers of commerce and industries, business leaders, tourism entrepreneurs and media representatives, attended the event.
