Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Bangladesh-Nepal International Rugby Series 2025 at the National Stadium in Dhaka on November 22.
Speaking as the Chief Guest, Ambassador Bhandari underscored the importance of sports in enhancing people-to-people connections and strengthening bilateral ties between Nepal and Bangladesh.
The Nepali National Rugby Team, currently in Dhaka for the two-day series, delivered an impressive performance by winning both ‘sevens side’ matches played on the opening day.
The series continues tomorrow with more matches scheduled between the two national teams.
