Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Muscat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on healthcare services with the Badr Al Samaa Hospital Group aimed at enhancing medical support for the Nepali community residing in Oman.
The MoU was signed February 22 by Ambassador Dornath Aryal on behalf of the Embassy of Nepal, and by Moidin Bilal, Executive Director, on behalf of the hospital group, amid a formal ceremony held in Muscat.

Under the agreement, both sides have committed to organizing free health camps targeting the Nepali community. The hospital group will also provide healthcare services at concessional rates based on recommendations from the Embassy and extend other necessary medical support as required.
The understanding is expected to significantly contribute to the welfare and well-being of Nepali nationals living and working in the Sultanate of Oman.
The signing ceremony was attended by Bishesh Kumar Sah, First Secretary at the Embassy of Nepal, along with senior officials from the hospital group.
The Embassy expressed confidence that the collaboration would further strengthen support mechanisms for the Nepali diaspora in Oman and ensure improved access to quality healthcare services.
