Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Thailand marked the 11th Constitution Day/National Day 2082 on September 19 with a special ceremony at its premises. The program included flag hoisting, the national anthem, and a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs.
On the occasion, Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand, Dhan Bahadur Oli, read out the message of best wishes received from the President of Nepal. He noted that the Constitution reflects the long struggle and aspirations of the Nepali people and called for collective effort to fully implement it.
Following the formal ceremony, discussions were held with professors, scholars, businessmen, professionals, and Nepali students studying in Thailand. Participants shared their views on Nepal’s constitution, democratic practices, good governance, and development. Gen-Z youth expressed confidence that Nepalis abroad can also contribute to Nepal’s progress, while academics pledged support from their respective fields.
Concluding the program, Ambassador Oli thanked all attendees and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to working closely with the Nepali community to promote Nepal’s national interests.
