Kathmandu: On the occasion of the Second International Meditation Day, the Embassy of Nepal in Washington, D.C. organized a meditation programme highlighting the importance of mindfulness and inner wellbeing.
Addressing the event, Charge d’ Affaires Sharad Raj Aran underscored the significance of meditation in human life and its role in promoting mental peace and balance. Jivan Bigyan Gurus L.P. Bhanu Sharma and Ramesh Nepal led yoga and meditation sessions, emphasizing their relevance in daily life.
The programme also featured a special musical performance by Dr. Keith Wright, Professor of Music and Director of Cultural Affairs at the STAR Scholars Network. The event was attended by meditation enthusiasts as well as beginners.
