Nepal Embassy Officials Meet Okinawa Governor to Boost Cooperation

Kathmandu: Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Nepal in Japan, Harihar Kant Poudel, met with Governor Denny Tamaki of Okinawa Prefecture at the Governor’s Office on February 13.

Poudel was accompanied by Second Secretary Narayan Gyanwali and leaders of the Nepali community in Okinawa.

During the meeting, both sides held productive discussions on advancing Okinawa–Nepal cooperation, including cultural exchanges, business-to-business (B2B) engagements, and people-to-people relations. They also discussed issues related to the welfare of Nepali citizens residing in Okinawa Prefecture.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both sides to further strengthen Nepal–Japan partnership at the prefectural level.
