Nepal Embassy Organizes Painting Competition in Rajshahi

Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Bangladesh–Nepal Friendship Society (BNFS), organized a painting competition for school-level students at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy in Rajshahi on December 19.

Held under the theme “Nepal As I See It,” the competition aimed to provide young Bangladeshi students with a creative platform to express their ideas and understanding of Nepal through art.

Inaugurating the event, Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari praised the students for their participation and said the competition was intended to enhance awareness about Nepal and strengthen friendship between the two countries. He highlighted the long-standing and close ties between Nepal and Bangladesh and expressed hope that such activities would further promote cultural and people-to-people relations.

President of the Bangladesh–Nepal Friendship Society, Moshiur Ahmed, welcomed the participants and said the event celebrated the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Students from 40 schools in Rajshahi took part in the competition, divided into two age groups: 6–10 years and 11–16 years. Four winners and ten best artworks from each category were selected by a panel of judges. A prize distribution ceremony was held later in the day to felicitate the winners.
