KATHMANDU: Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadee took part in a Ministerial Roundtable discussion titled “Accelerating Financing for Resilience: Tailored Solutions for Disaster Risk Reduction” at the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Geneva.
The high-level session, co-chaired by the Government of Switzerland and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), focused on exploring innovative financing mechanisms, strengthening public-private partnerships, and promoting inclusive strategies to ensure effective investment in disaster resilience.
