Kathmandu:The Government of Nepal has issued a travel advisory for Nepali nationals currently residing and working in Iran, urging them to strictly follow the instructions of the Iranian authorities, remain indoors, stay alert, and exercise maximum caution in view of the prevailing situation.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Nepali nationals in Iran have been advised to strictly follow security advisories issued by Iranian authorities, stay indoors as much as possible, remain alert, and exercise maximum caution.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also advised all Nepali citizens planning to travel to Iran to defer their travel until conditions in the country return to normal.
For emergencies or assistance, Nepali nationals are requested to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kathmandu or the Embassy of Nepal in Doha.
