Nepal NCC Delegation Visits India to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Kathmandu: A delegation comprising two officers and 16 NCC cadets from Nepal, led by Maj Gen Yam Prasad Dhakal, Director General of NCC, Nepali Army, visited India from January 15 to 30, 2026.
During their stay, the delegation paid tribute at the War Memorial and India Gate and visited several cultural and heritage sites across the country. The Nepalese NCC cadets also witnessed the Republic Day Parade, gaining firsthand exposure to India’s national celebrations.


Along with delegations from other countries, the Nepal delegation jointly called on President of India Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.


The visit provided valuable opportunities for interaction and exchange, contributing to enhanced mutual understanding, cooperation, and friendship between Nepal and India.
