Kathmandu: At the Ambassadorial Meeting of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), Nepal’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, Gyan Bahadur Magar, emphasized the need for effective implementation of the Awaza Programme of Action to deliver tangible benefits to people in LLDCs.
He welcomed progress on key APoA deliverables and underscored the importance of coordinated action across multilateral forums, including the United Nations, to advance LLDC priorities on trade, transit, climate action, and infrastructure development.
