Nepal Tourism Board Showcases MICE and Wedding Potential at MTM & LLTM 2026

Kathmandu: MTM & LLTM 2026, with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) as a focus partner, concluded at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, reaffirming its role as a decision-driven platform for engagement across the travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector, on January 9.

The two-day programme, held on January 8 and 9, brought together screened corporate buyers, credible brands, and senior industry leaders in a business-focused environment shaped by relevance and intent.

The event’s “Reverse Marketplace” model enabled structured one-on-one meetings between buyers and sellers, complemented by curated networking sessions and forward-looking discussions reflecting the sector’s evolving priorities.

Nepal Tourism Board made a strong impression through a dedicated destination presentation, using MTM & LLTM as a strategic platform to engage India’s corporate and MICE decision-makers. With India remaining one of Nepal’s key source markets, NTB highlighted Nepal’s growing appeal for incentives, conferences, experiential travel and celebration-led journeys.

Through direct interactions and focused dialogue, the Tourism Board worked to enhance destination awareness, strengthen trade partnerships and deepen its engagement with the Indian travel and events industry.

The event also featured the MTM Star Awards for Wedding Planners on the second day, recognising professionals whose excellence in planning and execution has set new benchmarks across India’s wedding and celebration economy.

Nepal marked a notable presence in this niche segment as well, reflecting its ambitions to grow as a preferred destination for weddings and high-end celebrations in the years ahead.
