Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai received Ali Murat Ersoy, the newly appointed Non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Nepal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 25.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various facets of Nepal–Turkey relations, focusing on strengthening cooperation in trade, tourism, education and training. They also exchanged views on further enhancing bilateral engagement and exploring new avenues of collaboration for mutual benefit.
Nepal and Turkey have maintained friendly relations, and the meeting reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to deepening ties in priority sectors.
