Nepali Army Officer Cadet Leaves for Training at UK’s Sandhurst Academy

Kathmandu: Officer Cadet Himal Nepali of the Nepali Army has departed for the United Kingdom to attend a one-year Commissioning Course at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Speaking before his departure, Cadet Nepali said he felt proud to represent his country, people, and institution at the prestigious academy.

Since the 1950s, the UK has supported the professional development of Nepali Army personnel through training programs such as the Sandhurst Commissioning Course. The initiative has further strengthened the historic ties and mutual respect between the two nations.
