Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Sri Lanka, in partnership with the Sheraton Hotel, successfully inaugurated the Nepali Food Festival and Cultural Promotion Event at the Sheraton Hotel premises on 24 January. The week-long festival will run from January 24 to 30.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Purna Bahadur Nepali, Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka, in the presence of the Ambassadors of Malaysia, Turkey, and Vietnam, and the High Commissioners of Bangladesh, Maldives, and Pakistan.
The program was attended by the Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka, diplomats, embassy officials and their families, as well as members of the Nepali and Sri Lankan communities. Guests enjoyed traditional Nepali food and experienced the essence of Nepal’s culture and heritage in a warm atmosphere.
The Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to the Sheraton Hotel and all participants for their valuable support in promoting Nepali culture, cuisine, and people-to-people connections between Nepal and Sri Lanka.
