Kathmandu: India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal on April 10 in Mauritius.
Minister Khanal went to Port Louis, Mauritius, to attend the 9th Indian Ocean Conference.
In his social media post, Jaishankar congratulated Khanal on his appointment as Nepal’s foreign minister. He noted that the discussion focused on realizing the full potential of the India–Nepal partnership through deeper collaboration across various sectors.
The two leaders also exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing mutual interests, underscoring their commitment to further enhancing the longstanding ties between the two neighboring countries.
