Kathmandu: The US issued an advisory on visiting Nepal and said that the security situation in Nepal is good. They stated that the Gen Z movement that started last September has ended and the security situation is ‘stable’.
However, the city-centred movements of Nepal are still sporadic and urged to exercise caution. Although the overall security situation in Nepal is stable, the advisory mentions ‘to exercise extra vigilance’ due to possible civil unrest.
Rastryta Swatantra Party alone won 182 seats in the February 21 election. RSP has now formed the government under the leadership of its senior leader Balendra Shah.
Prime Minister Shah is now implementing 100 points based on good governance and priorities. After a single party formed a single government in Nepal, the United States issued an advisory after assessing Nepal’s security system.
