Newly Appointed UNODC Regional Representative Hölge Presents Credentials to Foreign Minister Sharma

Kathmandu: Kristian Hölge, newly appointed Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for South Asia, based in New Delhi, presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 3.

Following the presentation, Hölge paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Minister and briefed him on the activities of UNODC in Nepal and the South Asia region.

Welcoming Hölge, the Foreign Minister Sharma congratulated him on his appointment and emphasized the importance of close cooperation between Nepal and UNODC to address challenges such as illicit drug trafficking and human trafficking.

The Foreign Minister also extended his best wishes for Hölge’s successful tenure.
