NGO Federation Congratulates Stakeholders for Peaceful Elections

Kathmandu: The NGO Federation of Nepal has congratulated all stakeholders for the peaceful completion of the House of Representatives elections held in Nepal.

In a statement, the federation expressed gratitude to the Government of Nepal, the Election Commission Nepal, security agencies, civil servants, volunteers, civil society representatives and election observers for their role in ensuring the elections were conducted in a peaceful, systematic and credible manner.

The federation also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of political parties, candidates and voters, noting that the involvement of citizens strengthened democratic practices in the country.

According to the federation, around 5,000 election observers were mobilized nationwide by civil society organizations to monitor the electoral process and promote transparency.

While acknowledging a few isolated incidents reported during the polls, the federation described the overall conduct of the election as peaceful and orderly. It also urged all political parties, candidates and citizens to respect the final results and work together to strengthen democracy and national prosperity.
