Kathmandu: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in the Meet Global MICE Congress (MGMC) 2025, held on December 17–18 at the World Trade Center Congress Centre in Moscow.
The event brought together business tourism leaders and hosted buyers from over 35 countries, offering NTB a strategic platform to position Nepal as an emerging destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism.
At the congress, NTB highlighted Nepal’s growing MICE potential, emphasizing its modern event facilities, scenic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and expanding hospitality sector. From its exhibition booth (9D), the NTB team engaged with international buyers and decision-makers, promoting integrated tourism products and encouraging future collaborations in business events and incentive travel.
The programme featured addresses by Khuman Singh Tamang, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal in Russia, and Mani Raj Lamichhane, Senior Director of NTB, on emerging MICE trends. NTB expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Nepal and the event organizers for their support, underscoring its ongoing efforts to enhance Nepal’s global tourism profile and attract innovative business travel opportunities.
