Kathmandu: A total of 128,443 tourists visited Nepal in October, according to data released by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). With October being a peak tourist season, the country witnessed a significant inflow of visitors.
Of the total arrivals, 29,060 tourists came from South Asia, 23,127 from other Asian countries, 40,500 from Europe, 6,814 from Oceania, 16,407 from the Americas, 3,548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa, and 8,444 from other regions.
Between January and October 2025, Nepal received a total of 943,716 tourists.
In October alone, India topped the list with 17,298 visitors, followed by the United States (13,286), the United Kingdom (8,718), China (6,755), Germany (6,366), and Australia (6,177). Similarly, 5,535 tourists came from Sri Lanka, 5,455 from France, 4,641 from Bangladesh, and 3,038 from Myanmar.
