Kathmandu: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, congratulated Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson, Rabi Lamichhane, and the new Prime Minister candidate of Nepal, Balen Shah, for their victory in the 2026 elections.
He said that the strong mandate reflects the trust of the Nepali people in the new and dynamic leadership. Moreover, he added that Pakistan looks forward to working closely with the newly elected government of Nepal to further strengthen the historic friendship and cooperation.
