PM Oli Holds Bilateral Talks with Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu in Tianjin

Kathmandu: Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, in Tianjin today, September 1, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.

The two leaders discussed enhancing cooperation in agriculture, tourism, education, and people-to-people exchanges. They also underlined the importance of closer collaboration on global platforms to address the pressing issue of climate change, taking into account the special concerns of both mountain and ocean countries.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Nepal and the Maldives to strengthen bilateral ties while contributing jointly to addressing global challenges.
