Kathmandu: On June 4, at the “Prime Minister with Ideators” event held at Idea Studio in Bagbazar, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli urged young people to confidently engage in entrepreneurship and create jobs within Nepal, emphasizing the government’s firm commitment to supporting these efforts.
“Youths should not be satisfied with things as they are. They must possess a nature inclined toward change and improvement,” PM Oli said. “However, being dissatisfied does not mean indulging in irresponsible behavior on social media — such actions often lead to personal and family stress.”
PM Oli even noted, “Now, youths should focus not on job-seeking but on job creation. By promoting entrepreneurship, employment, commercialization, and innovation, we can show that there are opportunities within the country itself and help reduce the trend of youths going abroad just for work.”
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also visited an exhibition of domestically produced goods and innovations promoted by Idea Studio.
Dr. Tshering Lama, founder of Idea Studio, and Rameshwar Aryal, Chairman of Kathmandu Model College, briefed Prime Minister Oli on the ongoing efforts and achievements in youth innovation.
