Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel is set to visit the State of Qatar on 3 November 2025 to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, which will be held in Doha from 4 to 6 November.
The President will attend the Summit at the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar. During the event, President Paudel will address the Plenary Meetings and the High-level Roundtable on 4 November.
Moreover, to provide details about the visit, a press briefing by the Foreign Secretary was held at the Ministry on October 31.
During his stay, President Paudel is scheduled to meet with the Amir of Qatar and hold meetings with several world leaders attending the Summit.
The President will also be accompanied by his spouse, Sabita Paudel, Kiran Kumar Pokharel, Press Advisor to the President, Dr. Dipak Kaphle, Secretary of the Office of the President, and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal. The delegation is set to return to Kathmandu on 6 November 2025.
