Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leaders and Members of Parliament, Sobita Gautam and Hari Dhakal, held an informal meeting with former Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu, during their visit to Bangalore, Karnataka. The leaders were in India to participate in a program organized by the Nepali Diaspora Forum.
The discussion focused on the issues and challenges faced by the Nepali diaspora in India, the broader dynamics of Nepal-India relations, and the importance of establishing long-term, structured coordination between the two nations. The RSP leaders also shared a brief overview of their party’s vision, political goals, and ongoing campaigns.
The meeting was informal in nature. The RSP leaders expressed their gratitude for Naidu’s warm hospitality, insights, and shared experiences. They expressed hope that such exchanges would contribute to strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing mutual understanding, and fostering people-to-people ties between Nepal and India.
