Kathmandu: Russian expatriate women gathered in Kathmandu ahead of International Women’s Day to celebrate the occasion in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The event was organized under the auspices of the Association of Russian Compatriots in Nepal (ARSN), chaired by Natalia Oli, and took place at a restaurant in the capital.
Participants discussed a range of topics during the gathering, including Nepal’s recent parliamentary elections, Russian cinema and everyday life between Russia and Nepal. Conversations also touched on family values and the experiences of intercultural marriages.
Attendees thanked each other for the warm exchange and expressed appreciation to Natalia Oli for organizing the meeting, which helped preserve Russian traditions while living abroad. The group also agreed to meet again on April 5 ahead of the celebration of Easter.
