Kathmandu: The Russian House in Kathmandu paid a visit to the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), one of Nepal’s leading hospitality institutions affiliated with Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University.
The visit was organized by Prof. Buland Thapa, President of the «Friends of RUDN» Association in Nepal, and NATHM Director Ajay Kumar Dhakal. Anastasia Khokhlova, Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Nepal and Director of the Russian House in Kathmandu, attended a practical exam and presentation by fourth-semester Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) students.
During the visit, substantive discussions were held on strengthening Nepal-Russia cooperation in tourism, hospitality, mountaineering, and Russian-language education. Topics included academic partnerships, student and teacher exchanges, professional training programs, and cultural-educational initiatives.
Russian House expresses gratitude to NATHM for their warm hospitality and look forward to further collaboration to deepen the long-standing friendship between Nepal and Russia.
