Kathmandu: The Secretary General of SAARC, H. E. Md. Golam Sarwar, expressed deep appreciation for the farewell event hosted by the SAARC Cultural Centre. Scretary General Sarwar expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon. Minister of Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka, Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, for gracing the occasion as Chief Guest.
He acknowledged the SAARC Cultural Centre’s valuable contributions in strengthening cultural cooperation and promoting people-to-people connections across South Asia, and thanked Dr. Kaushalya Kumarasinghe and the SCC team for their dedication and also emphasized that culture remains one of the strongest bridges connecting the peoples of the region.
