Kathmandu: The outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed, paid a farewell call on Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry on November 22.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the growing engagements and cooperation between Nepal and Saudi Arabia in recent years.
Ambassador Haimed expressed his appreciation for the warm and welcoming nature of the Nepali people. Foreign Secretary Rai thanked the Ambassador for his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations during his tenure and wished him success in his future assignments.
Ambassador Haimed, who began his tenure in Nepal in 2022, will soon depart Kathmandu upon completion of his diplomatic assignment.
