Kathmandu: A group of senior Nepali doctors and specialists who received their medical education in Bangladesh met with Md. Shafiqur Rahman, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, at the Embassy premises.
Among the group were prominent figures, including the President of the Nepalese Society of Gastroenterologists and the General Secretary of the Society of Internal Medicine. The doctors warmly welcomed the Ambassador and expressed their deep appreciation for Bangladesh, describing it as their “second home.” They also shared their interest in working together to strengthen Bangladesh-Nepal ties.
Ambassador Rahman praised the doctors for their valuable contributions to Nepali society and described them as a bridge between the two nations. He encouraged them to serve as catalysts for deepening bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of building a strong alumni network to foster greater collaboration. He also assured the group of the Embassy’s full support and cooperation in their future initiatives.
