Kathmandu: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) visited the Manakamana Temple in Nepal and offered prayers at the shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati.
During the visit, he prayed for the wellbeing, happiness, and prosperity of the people, as well as for the upliftment of the poor, sick, and vulnerable. He also sought blessings for peace, development, and progress of the state, the nation, and the world, guided by the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” meaning the world is one family.
The Chief Minister described the spiritual atmosphere of the hilltop temple as serene and uplifting. He expressed gratitude to all those who supported and assisted during the pilgrimage, stating that their cooperation made the visit meaningful and memorable.
