SkillUp Session Focuses on Financial Skills for Nepali Entrepreneurs

Kathmandu: The fifth session of the SkillUp Series, titled “From Budget to Backing: Financial Skills for Founders,” was held at the American Center in Kathmandu, with a live stream connecting participants in Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, and Surkhet.

The session featured International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumna and business consultant Santona Malakar, who guided participants on key aspects of financial planning for startups. Her session covered budgeting, cost management, cash flow, pricing strategies, and evaluating funding options such as personal savings, grants, loans, and investors.

Participants gained practical insights aimed at helping them make informed financial decisions and strengthen their business ideas.

The SkillUp Series is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals by building skills in leadership and innovation, contributing to Nepal’s economic growth.

Organizers encouraged interested individuals to visit their nearest American Space to take part in upcoming sessions.
