Kathmandu: South Asian University (SAU) marked the New Year 2026 with a special programme reflecting on its achievements in 2025 and outlining priorities for the year ahead.
The programme began with a welcome address by Registrar Dr. Ravindra Kumar Soni, followed by a video presentation highlighting SAU’s key milestones and progress over the past year. Vice Presidents Sanjay Chaturvedi and Pankaj Jain shared the University’s strategic vision and acknowledged the leadership of SAU President K. K. Aggarwal.
Addressing the gathering, President Aggarwal emphasised that change is the only constant and highlighted adaptability, perseverance, and continuous learning as vital to institutional excellence. He also outlined SAU’s major goals for 2026 and urged the University community to work collectively to achieve higher academic and administrative standards.
The programme was moderated by Dr. Vivek Dixit and concluded with a renewed sense of purpose as SAU looks ahead to another year of growth and excellence.
